Puppetry Skills Weekend Workshop – 24-25th March 2018, Edinburgh
£78 – a limited number of reduced bursary places are available.
Puppetry Skills is a full weekend workshop for individuals either in their early career or who are new to visual theatre or puppetry. Within the weekend we will focus on developing puppetry skills and techniques, including points of focus, character and devising ideas through movement. The session will then progress into multi-person puppetry approaching how to puppeteer as a group and the difference in methods from single person manipulation. We will share different styles of puppetry and slowly develop skills in an open and collaborative process. The weekend will aim to allow individuals to explore their own ideas, using the group dynamic to help develop and progress puppetry performances.
