The Last Miner was first performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2010, making the shortlist for the Arches Brick Award and playing to packed audiences throughout the festival. Since then The Last Miner has toured across the UK, performed with the Scottish Puppet Animation Festival and at Edinburgh’s Manipulate Festival in 2011.

In June of 2012 the show had its first performances outside the UK at the Figura Theaterfestival in Baden, Switzerland. The Last Miner was developed with the support of IdeasTap.
